Our five days safari, which takes you to the 4 most popular National Parks of Northern Zone of Tanzania, includes the world-famous SERENGETI, NGORONGORO CRATER, Lake Manyara and Tarangire.

Serengeti is the oldest national park in Tanzania, a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th Wonder of the World. Driving through the plains of Serengeti, you will enjoy a view of African wildlife in abundance. The Ngorongoro Crater will also give many reasons to take out your cameras as the crater floor is home to many wildlife. Enjoy Lake Manyara National Park's landscape with thousands of flamingos by the lake shore and other wildlife in the vicinity. Tarangire is famous for its herds of elephants and gigantic Baobab trees.

DAY 1 : MOSHI – LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

We depart from Moshi in the morning (picking up on the way those who enter in Arusha) and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. After the completion of formalities, we proceed with a game drive into this park, which is very famous for its lush green foliage, varied bird life, tree-climbing lions, hippos, elephants, wildebeests, baboons, thousands of flamingos that inhabit the lake shore and many others. We have a picnic lunch and continue with the game drive until late evening. Overnight and dinner at the accommodation of your category of choice (camping/simple lodge/standard lodge).

 

DAY 2 : TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

The trip starts just after breakfast when we drive to Tarangire National park. Tarangire is famous for its herds of Elephants and ancient Baobab trees. This park is also well known for its high concentration of game and fantastic bird life. Other animals to be spotted include leopards, giraffes, zebras, lions, etc. We enjoy a game drive until late afternoon and then drive to Mto-wa-Mbu. Overnight and dinner at your accommodation of category of choice.

 

DAY 3 : SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

We depart after breakfast to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro conservation area where we have a picnic lunch. We arrive for an afternoon game drive on the central part of Serengeti (Game drive in Seronera area), entering the park through Southern side, Naabi gate. Serengeti offers the most enthralling game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo and wildebeests, groups of elephant and giraffes, eland, impala and Grant’s gazelle, Lions, leopards and many others. Overnight and dinner at the accommodation of your category of choice.

 

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK- NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

We experience a spectacular early morning sunrise in Serengeti, if the weather allows, and have breakfast. After breakfast, we leave the camp with your picnic lunch to another game drive, looking for more lions, leopards, cheetah, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and hyenas till afternoon and then drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area. Overnight and dinner at the accommodation of your category of choice. (Please note that in case you book the SIMPLE LODGE option, this night is spent CAMPING as there is no accommodation of simple lodge standard in the area. This is already reflected in the SIMPLE LODGE accommodation plan rate).  

 

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, with picnic lunch packed, we depart for a game drive to the Ngorongoro crater. A real life Eden, you will be amazed by its abundant wildlife that get very close to the vehicle. The crater floor supports more than 25000 large mammals including the remaining Black Rhinos, Zebras, Gnus, Gazelles, Buffalos, Lions, Hippos, Elephants, Elands, Hyenas and a number of aquatic birds. We explore the crater till late afternoon and drive back to Moshi/Arusha.
